This page will be updated with information students and parents need to know about applying to university.

Information for Students

If you're in Year 12 and thinking of applying to go to university when you leave BTEA, you can find everything you need to know at the UCAS website: https://www.ucas.com/ucas/undergraduate/getting-started.

Click on the UCAS image below to get access to more information directly from UCAS.

You can follow UCAS on Twitter @ucas-online and on Facebook (search for UCAS).

Information for Parents

UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) is the organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK. They provide a wealth of advice and guidance to students (and their parents/carers) who are intending to progress to university. The UCAS Parent Guide for the current and next academic year can be found in the Quick Links section below.

UCAS have created a monthly parent newsletter with updates, information and timely explanations of the application process. Sign up for the UCAS parent newsletter here.

You can also visit UCAS's Parent Information Tool for up-to-date information on where your son/daughter is in the application process and what you can do to support them.
